SoPure Gentle Baby Laundry Detergent is a fragrance-free laundry detergent formulated with newborn and sensitive skin in mind. It's made to wash baby clothes, bedding and other washable textiles soft and clean using plant-based surfactants that lift milk, formula, food and everyday stains — without synthetic fragrance, dyes or enzymes.

Because it rinses clean and is designed to leave no residue behind in the fabric that sits against your baby's skin, it works as a single detergent for the whole baby wash — by hand or in the machine. This is the larger 5 litre bottle, suited to households doing frequent baby loads.

Gentle on skin that flares

SoPure is enzyme-free, and that's a deliberate choice: enzymes are a common irritant for sensitive skin. Leaving them out, along with synthetic fragrance, means there's less against the skin that tends to trigger a flare. The formula is free from:

  • Enzymes
  • Synthetic fragrances and synthetic dyes
  • Petrochemical surfactants and nonylphenols
  • Optical brighteners
  • Parabens
  • Phosphates and phosphonate

Cleans milk, food and stains

Going enzyme- and fragrance-free doesn't mean going soft on the mess. SoPure uses plant-based, coconut- and palm-derived surfactants to break down milk, formula, food and odours — including sour milk from cloth nappies — so you don't have to choose between a gentle formula and one that actually shifts stains.

How to use

Suitable for both hand and machine washing. Choose the method that matches the load:

Everyday washing

Use 30 to 60 ml (about two caps) for a 6 kg load, by hand or machine.

Heavy soiling or nappies
  1. Pre-soak the garments in warm water with 1 capful of product for 30 minutes.
  2. Wash as normal.
  3. Rinse thoroughly.
