The Snuza Hero MD is a wearable baby movement monitor that clips directly onto your baby's nappy and is designed to detect their abdominal movements while they sleep, alerting you if movement isn't detected. It's a compact, stand-alone device that needs no Wi-Fi, no app, no cords and no sensor pads under the mattress — so there's less to set up and nothing extra to keep charged or connected.

How it works

• Direct-touch movement sensor: The patented sensor sits against your baby's abdomen and detects the small movements associated with their breathing motion while they sleep.
• Gentle rousing vibration: If no movement is detected after 15 seconds, the Hero MD gently vibrates in an attempt to rouse your baby.
• Audible alarm: If movement still isn't detected after 20 seconds, an audible alarm sounds so you can go to your baby and respond.
• Visual movement indicator: An indicator shows you movement is being picked up, with an optional audible "ticking" function if you'd like to hear it too.

Simple, cord-free design

Because the Hero MD is worn on the nappy rather than placed under the mattress, there are no cords or pads to position, and no app to pair. It runs on a replaceable CR2 battery with a battery life of up to approximately six months, and settings are adjustable to suit how you'd like to use it. The unit is made from medical-grade plastic and silicone and is BPA-, Phthalate-, Lead- and Latex-free.

How to use

1. Calibrate the device according to the supplied instructions.
2. Clip the Hero MD securely onto your baby's nappy with the sensor resting against the abdomen. It may also be positioned over a thin layer of clothing where the product instructions permit.
3. Make sure the nappy fits snugly enough to keep the sensor in contact with your baby.

No app connection is required — the Hero MD operates entirely as a stand-alone device.
