The Pigeon SofTouch Step 2 Drinking Straw Set turns your existing SofTouch nursing bottle into a straw cup, giving your baby a way to practise independent straw drinking. It's the second step in Pigeon's two-step straw transition, aimed at babies aged 12 months and up, and it swaps onto the bottle you already use rather than asking you to buy a whole new cup.

This straw top set is designed to fit SofTouch 240 mL and 330 mL nursing bottles only, so it works within the SofTouch wide-neck system you may already have at home. If you're moving your little one on from nursing towards sipping through a straw, this is the practice step that lets them draw liquid up on their own while you keep the familiar bottle base.

How it Works

  • Flat Tip and X-Cut design: This Step 2 top uses a flat tip with an X-Cut valve, suited to babies from 12 months, so your baby draws liquid up through the straw the way an older child or adult does.
  • Controlled flow: The X-Cut valve allows a higher flow rate while still controlling how quickly liquid is released as your baby sucks.
  • Dual Air Vents: Two air vents let air back into the bottle as liquid is drawn out, for a smoother, uninterrupted drinking experience.

How to Use

Fit a straw top to a compatible SofTouch nursing bottle. It helps to have more than one top on hand and alternate between two or more of them in daily use. After each use, rinse in warm water straight away and wash thoroughly with a Pigeon Liquid Cleanser. Use a sponge brush for the bottle, the SofTouch Nipple Brush for the straw tops, and the SofTouch Straw Brush to clean through the Gravity Ball Straw. Make sure every part is washed and rinsed — including areas you can't easily see — to clear any milk residue, then sterilise.
