NUK First Choice Temperature Control Breast Milk Container

The NUK First Choice Temperature Control Breast Milk Container is a reusable storage pot designed to carry expressed breast milk all the way from pump to feed, without messy transfers along the way. Each container holds 150 ml, comes with a secure screw lid, and can go from the freezer to a warmer to a feed using the same pot — a practical option if you're expressing around work, travel or time away from your baby.

What sets this container apart is the built-in Temperature Control Indicator. Shaped like a thermometer and set within the measuring scale on the side of the container, it changes colour with the temperature of the milk inside: it shows blue at around body temperature (37°C) and turns white when the contents are too hot. It's a helpful visual cue at a glance, and one less thing to second-guess when your baby is hungry and waiting.

A single pot for storing, warming and feeding

Made from BPA-free polypropylene (PP) that's temperature-resistant from -18°C to +100°C, the container is suited to cooling, freezing, reheating and feeding. For longer storage, it can be frozen for up to six months. The clear measuring scale makes it easy to track portions, which helps when you're dividing expressed milk into feed-sized amounts. Because it's reusable and simple to clean, it's built for repeated use rather than a single session.

Works within the NUK First Choice system

The container connects directly to the NUK Jolie Manual Breast Pump and the NUK First Choice+ Electric Breast Pump, so you can express straight into it. When it's time to feed, attach any NUK First Choice or First Choice+ teat (sold separately) and the pot becomes a 150 ml bottle — no need to decant into a separate bottle first. It can also be used in a bottle warmer such as the NUK Baby Food Warmer.

How the Temperature Control Indicator works

• Colour-changing cue: The indicator appears blue when the milk is around body temperature (37°C) and turns white when the contents are too hot, giving you a visual guide before a feed.
• Built into the scale: It sits within the graduation marks on the side of the container, so you can read the temperature and the volume in the same place.

Caring for your container

Before first use, place the parts in boiling water for five minutes, using plenty of water to avoid damage. Dismantle the container fully for boiling or steam-sterilising, clean thoroughly with a mild washing-up liquid, and sterilise before each further use.
