Goes great with ...
  • No Batteries Needed: A simple wind-up mechanism powers the movement, so there's nothing to charge, replace or seal.
  • Floats, Swims and Spins: Wind up the bottom fin and the shark moves and spins its way across the water.
  • Easy for Small Hands: The compact size is designed so little ones can grip and wind it up themselves.
  • Water-Tight Design: Built to keep water out, which Munchkin notes helps you avoid mould and mildew building up inside.
  • Playful Distraction: A friendly shark with a floatie and a smile adds a bit of fun to tub time.

The Munchkin Sea Spinner Wind-Up Shark Bath Toy is a battery-free bath toy that floats, swims and spins its way around the tub — powered entirely by a simple wind-up mechanism. Little ones wind up the bottom fin, set the shark down in the water, and watch it go, making it an easy way to add a bit of play and distraction to bath time for a sitting baby or toddler.

Because it needs no batteries, there's no battery compartment to seal or check, and nothing to replace. The shark is a compact size that's easy for small hands to grip and wind on their own, so it invites cause-and-effect play — wind it up, let it go, do it again.

Designed to keep water out

The Sea Spinner is designed to be water-tight, which means water isn't meant to get inside the toy where it can be hard to reach and dry. According to Munchkin, this helps you avoid the mould and mildew that can build up inside toys that take on water. As with any bath toy, giving it a shake and letting it air-dry between baths is worth doing.

Best For

The Munchkin Sea Spinner Wind-Up Shark Bath Toy is a great option for parents who:

  • Want a moving bath toy without the upkeep of batteries
  • Are looking for something to occupy and distract a reluctant bather
  • Prefer a sealed, water-tight design that's easier to keep clean

Disclaimer

A bath toy is for play only and doesn't reduce the need for supervision. Always stay within arm's reach and keep a hand on your child at bath time — no toy or bathing aid makes it safe to leave a child alone in or near water, even briefly.
