The Maxi-Cosi Pebble 360 Pro is a rear-facing infant car seat designed to carry your baby from birth (40 cm) up to approximately 15 months. Part of the 360 Pro Family range, it pairs one-hand rotation with SlideTech™ sliding technology to take some of the daily strain out of getting a newborn safely in and out of the car — no more twisting into the back seat, awkward lifts or bumped heads. It can be installed with the vehicle seatbelt on its own, or used with the FamilyFix 360 Pro base (sold separately) for added convenience.
What sets the Pebble 360 Pro apart is its full lie-flat position. It offers three recline positions — including a full lie-flat setting that can be used both in the car and clicked onto a compatible pushchair — so your baby can stay in a more natural resting position as you move between the two. It is built to the latest i-Size safety standard (R129/03) and carries integrated G-CELL Side Impact Protection, so the focus stays where it matters most for a seat this small: fit, comfort and how it manages an impact.
Lie-flat comfort, in the car and on the go
The full lie-flat position gives your baby a flatter, more natural sleeping position. According to Maxi-Cosi, this helps keep their airways open and allows them to breathe more easily — useful in those early months when newborns spend so much of their day asleep. Because the lie-flat setting works in the car and on a compatible pushchair, you can keep a sleeping baby in a comfortable position as you transfer between the two. A removable Baby Hugg inlay adds extra newborn support and can be used until your baby is around 60 cm (roughly 3 months), while seven adjustable headrest positions and an adjustable harness let the seat grow with your little one.
Everyday ease
The Easy-in harness is designed to hold the straps open so you can lower baby in and fasten them with minimum fuss. Breathable ClimaFlow panels help air circulate, which is worth having during warm South African drives, and the extra-large integrated sun canopy with UPF 50+ adjusts easily to shade little eyes.
How it works
- One-hand FlexiSpin rotation: The seat rotates towards the door so you can face your baby while lifting them in or out, then turn them back to travel — used with the FamiliaFix 360 Pro base (sold separately).
- SlideTech™: The FamilyFix 360 Pro base stays fixed in the car while the rotating part physically slides out of the doorway, giving you more space to install the seat and lift your child without straining your back or bumping your head. No extra button is needed — you rotate the seat 90 degrees to face you and pull it towards you. SlideTech™ only works in combination with the FamilyFix 360 Pro base.
- G-CELL Side Impact Protection: Built into the side panels and headrest, it works in three steps — engineered panels in the headrest and side wings redirect impact forces, the materials absorb those forces, and the seat geometry guides your child's head into the most secure zone of the headrest. With around 45% of impacts coming from the side, it is designed to spread the forces of an impact away from your child to help reduce injury, particularly around the head, neck and shoulders.
- Anti-misuse rotation lock: The seat locks so your baby always travels in the rearward-facing position, up to a minimum of 15 months, with no manual operation needed.
Installation and fit
The Pebble 360 Pro can be installed two ways: using the vehicle's seatbelt on its own, or on the FamilyFix 360 Pro base (sold separately) via integrated ISOFIX connectors. Using the base gives you the most convenient installation, plus rotation and SlideTech™; the seatbelt option gives you the flexibility to move the seat between different cars. The base has visual indicators to confirm the seat is installed correctly. Always follow both the car seat and vehicle manuals for the installation method you are using, and do not combine methods unless the manuals explicitly permit it. Rear-facing use should continue for as long as your baby remains within the seat's stated limits.
Thoughtfully made materials
The Pebble 360 Pro is made with soft, 100% recycled polyester — its EcoCare fabrics use the equivalent of 27 recycled rPET bottles (500 ml) and are produced without hazardous chemicals. The cover can be wiped down with a damp cloth or machine washed up to 30°C, which helps for the inevitable spills and spit-ups. At 4.7 kg, it is a genuine infant carrier you can lift out and carry between the car and home.
Travel-ready
The Pebble 360 Pro is TÜV certified for use on an aircraft, and can be used in all recline positions — including full lie-flat — while flying, so your baby can travel in their own familiar seat. As always, confirm your specific airline's policy before you fly.
