The Lansinoh HPA® Lanolin Nipple Cream (40ml) is a single-ingredient nipple cream made to soothe, moisturise and protect dry, sore or sensitive nipples through breastfeeding. Made from 100% HPA® (Highly Purified Anhydrous) Lanolin, this breastfeeding nipple cream moisturises, protects and conditions the skin, helping it hold onto moisture during the tender early weeks of feeding and beyond.

It is completely taste and smell free, so there is no need to wipe it off before the next feed. The formula is 100% natural with no preservatives or additives, is naturally hypoallergenic and is approved by the British Allergy Foundation. That combination is what makes it usable so simply as part of a feeding routine, rather than something extra to manage between feeds.

How it works

  • Skin-like lipids: Lanolin is a natural wax whose structure is very similar to the lipids found in our own skin, which is why it works so well as an emollient and moisturiser.
  • Locks in moisture: It forms a stable emulsion with the water already in the skin, helping to slow moisture evaporation and keep the skin conditioned between feeds.
  • Protective layer: Applied to the nipple, it sits as a gentle barrier that helps protect the skin while feeding continues.
