  • Made for the bashing stage: A soft plush giraffe head and soft base let baby swing and hit without causing damage.
  • Sound with every bash: Each hit triggers a fun, wacky sound that rewards your little one for repeating the action.

  • Easy to grasp: The long neck is easy for little hands to hold and swing, and the base is wrapped in soft plastic for grip.
  • Off button included: Switch the sounds off whenever you'd like quieter play.
  • Ready to play: Runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are included in the box.
  • From 12 months: Suited to babies aged 12 months and up.

The Lamaze Wacky Giraffe Toy is a plush sensory toy built for the stage when little ones want to grab, swing and bash everything in reach. With a soft, happy giraffe head on one end and a soft-based handle on the other, it gives your baby something they can actually swing around and hit things with — without causing any damage. Every bash triggers a fun, wacky sound, turning that natural urge to whack into a giggly game of cause and effect.

The giraffe's long neck is easy for little hands to grasp and swing, while the base is wrapped in soft plastic for a secure grip. It's a playful way to channel the "hitting phase" into safe, active play, and because it makes noise, there's a built-in off button for quieter moments. Designed for babies aged 12 months and up.

What your baby can do with it

  • Grasp and swing the long, plush neck
  • Bash the base against surfaces to trigger a sound
  • Discover cause and effect — every hit makes something happen
  • Get moving, which invites gross motor play

Sound with an off switch

Each bash sets off another fun and wacky sound, which keeps the game interesting and rewards baby for repeating the action. When you'd rather have quiet play, the off button lets you switch the sounds off while your little one keeps swinging and exploring. It runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are included, so it's ready to play straight away.
