The Lamaze Tug & Play Knot is a colourful, multi-textured sensory toy designed for little hands to grab, hold, pull and tug from birth onwards. Part rattle, part activity toy, it brings together bright colours, varied textures and different sounds in one soft, easy-to-grip knot — the kind of first toy that keeps a baby busy exploring at home or on the go.

At the heart of it are six sliding cords in different shapes and colours that a baby can pull and tug, which invites early grasping and gives little hands plenty to do. Around them you'll find a baby-safe mirror, a star-shaped teether, clacking rings, crinkle fabric, jingle sounds and a squeaker — so there's always something new to discover, whichever way baby turns it.

Sensory play from birth onwards

Suitable from birth (0m+), the Tug & Play Knot offers plenty for a baby to look at, feel and listen to. The bright colours and varied textures give the eyes and hands something to explore, while the crinkles, jingle sounds and squeaker add gentle auditory interest. The baby-safe mirror is there for self-recognition and simple peek-a-boo play, which is a lovely way to share back-and-forth moments together.

Something to chew on

The star-shaped teether and clacking rings give baby textures to mouth and chew, so the knot stays interesting as your little one starts reaching for everything to put in their mouth.

Ready to travel

A multi-purpose clip lets you attach the knot to a stroller or changing bag, or link it to a pushchair, mobile or cot — so a favourite toy can come along wherever you go and stays within easy reach.

How it Works

  • Tug and pull cords: Six sliding cords in different shapes and colours give little hands something to grab and pull, inviting early grasping and hand play.
  • Multi-sensory feedback: Crinkle fabric, jingle sounds and a squeaker respond as baby moves and squeezes the toy, adding sound to the play.
  • Peek-a-boo mirror: A baby-safe mirror offers self-recognition and simple peek-a-boo games you can play together.
  • Teether elements: A star-shaped teether and clacking rings give baby textured surfaces to mouth and chew.

The Lamaze Tug & Play Knot is a great option for parents who:

  • Want a soft, multi-sensory first toy suitable from birth
  • Are looking for something that invites grasping, pulling and tugging as baby's coordination grows
