Goes great with ...
  • Suitable from birth: Designed for babies from birth, making it an early sensory companion.
  • Six textures to explore: A mix of different textures across the dragon encourages baby to touch and feel.
  • Cause-and-effect play: Pull the clip to make the wings flip and flap, giving baby an action to trigger and repeat.
  • Colourful visual focus: Varied patterns and fabrics on the tail give baby's eyes something to focus on.
  • Easy to grasp: Lightweight and sized for little hands to hold and play with.
  • On-the-go clip: Attaches to a stroller or changing bag so it can join every outing.

The Lamaze Flip Flap Dragon is a soft, colourful sensory toy designed to bring textures, patterns and cause-and-effect play to babies from birth. With six different textures to explore and a wing-flapping action baby can help set off, this clip-on dragon is made to keep little hands and eyes busy at home and out and about.

Pull the clip and the dragon's wings flip and flap — a simple, repeatable action that helps baby link what they do with what happens next, often to plenty of giggles and smiles when you play together. The dragon's tail is made up of different patterns and materials that give baby's eyes something to focus on, while the mix of textures across the toy encourages touch and exploration. At around 27 cm tall and lightweight, it's sized for little hands to grasp and hold, and it comes with a handy on-the-go clip so it can attach to a stroller or changing bag and come along for the adventure.

How it works

  • Pull-to-flap wings: Pulling the clip makes the dragon's wings fly, giving baby a clear cause-and-effect moment to enjoy and repeat.
  • Multi-texture exploration: Six different textures across the dragon invite baby to touch and feel, supporting tactile play.
  • Visual focus: The colourful fabrics and varied patterns on the tail give baby's eyes something to focus on and follow.

Made for life on the go

The built-in clip lets you attach the Flip Flap Dragon to a stroller or changing bag, so it stays close during outings and travels rather than getting left behind. It's a compact, easy-to-pack option for keeping baby engaged while you're out.

The Lamaze Flip Flap Dragon is a great option for parents who:

  • Want a sensory toy suitable from birth
  • Are looking for tactile textures and colourful patterns to encourage touch and visual focus
  • Would like a clip-on toy that attaches to a stroller or changing bag for outings
