Spectra Membrane for Backflow Protector

Spectra Breast Pumps use a closed-system, meaning that your breastmilk never comes in contact with the pump. The backflow protector allows the pump to create suction while still separating the milk from the pump. But, the membrane does wear down with use, and might need to be replaced. The Spectra Backflow Protector is made up of an upper and a lower case, separated by a membrane. If there is damage to just the membrane, then there’s no need to replace the whole protector. You can easily separate the cases, replace the membrane, and reassemble.
