Pigeon Peristaltic Nipple was designed based on advanced nursing research and study to provide the best for mothers and babies. Each hole size and shape provide suitable milk flow for baby’s developmental stage. Teat section has an “accordion-like” portion that enables it to stretch in response to the peristaltic movement of the baby’s tongue. Made from thick ultra-soft silicone material, the nipple has similar elasticity to that of a mother’s actual breast. The dome-like shape makes baby’s mouth open naturally, supports its mouth softly and fits its lips gently.

Choosing Your Teat:

• Size S, for 0 months. Especially designed for newborn baby. The opening of the nipple is round-cut which allows milk to flow out consistently and gradually. Newborns have yet to develop any jaw msucles, thus the nipple is designed to support their sucking ability at this age.
• Size M, for 4 months. The opening of the nipple is round-cut which allows milk to flow out consistently and gradually. Newborns still have minimal jaw muscles movements at this age, thus the nipple is designed to support their sucking ability at this age.
• Size Y, for 6 months. Y-cut nipple enables variable flow of milk. Milk flows out when there’s pressure on the nipple, encouraging and babies to suck to get the milk out. Babies at this age have developed some jaw muscle movements and is able to suckle to get milk out.
• Size L, for 9 months. The opening of the nipple is slightly bigger Y-cut than L size nipple to allow more milk to drip out. Milk drips out when there’s pressure on the nipple. This helps babies to control the flow of milk and train their sucking ability as babies at this age have developed a stronger jaw muscle.
