How it Works

Some medical aid schemes cover essential registered devices like breast pumps, baby monitors, and thermometers when purchased from registered providers like us. To ensure your coverage, please contact your medical aid scheme directly for details specific to your plan. Verify your coverage before purchasing any medical aid-approved device, as not all schemes or plans will reimburse you, and certain approved items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

 

Once you’ve confirmed your coverage and selected the best products for you, simply place your order online and enter your medical aid details at checkout. After completing your payment, we’ll provide a paid invoice that you can submit to your scheme for reimbursement.

Once payment has been completed and we have begun processing you order, We will send you an invoice to submit to your scheme.
If you experience issues with the claims process, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we will do our best to support you.

Recieve Your Products

Once payment is completed, we will begin processing your order. Depending on your location and the products selected, delivery typically takes between 2 to 7 working days.

We recommend keeping your products sealed in their original packaging until your claim has been submitted and you have received reimbursement. This way, if your scheme unexpectedly does not reimburse you, we will be able to process a return. Please note that certain products cannot be returned if they have been opened due to hygiene reasons.

You can claim for devices registered with the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) and assigned a NAPPI code. These include breast pumps, select baby monitors, thermometers, humidifiers, nebulizers, nasal aspirators, and certain consumable products. 

 

Your ability to claim and the extent of your coverage depend on your specific medical scheme, plan, and benefits. There may be conditions or requirements you need to meet to qualify for a claim. We recommend contacting your medical scheme to get detailed information about your coverage and eligibility.

It depends on your medical scheme arrangement:

 

  • If we have an arrangement with your scheme (e.g., CAMAF), we can submit your claim directly, so you won’t need to pay upfront. If your claim exceeds your benefits, any copayment amount will be discounted by 10%.
  • If we don’t have an arrangement with your scheme, you will need to pay upfront and claim back from your scheme.

It depends on how your claim is submitted:

  • Direct Submission to Your Scheme: If we submit your claim directly to your scheme, it may take up to 2 weeks for the claim to be processed and payment to be made to us. Once we receive payment and any required copayments, we will process your order and ship it to your delivery address.
  • Pay Upfront and Claim Back: If you pay upfront, we will process your order and provide you with an invoice to submit to your scheme. You can expect this process to take around 2-7 business days.

If a device is approved, it will be indicated on the product page!

To claim for certain devices such as humidifiers and nebulisers, you may need a script from your OB-GYN, pediatrician, and/or your GP for your claim to be submitted successfully. Contact your claim to find out more.

There are absolutely no extra fees or hidden costs when claiming.

Yes, you can order any items you would like. You will need to pay upfront for your order, and the invoice will reflect all of the items, with all the necessary codes for your medical aid.
