Both the pump and the Express Cups are closed systems, and every part that comes into contact with breast milk is free from BPA and DEHP. The Express Cups use breast shields made from food-grade, frosted silicone, so the parts that touch your skin and milk are chosen with comfort and material safety in mind.

Two ways to pump from one kit

You can run the pump with the included bottle system — connector kit, tubing, breast shields and two PP bottles with teats and lids — for straightforward, visible pumping, or clip the motor to The ONE Express Cups to express straight into the cups. The cup system needs no special bra, no dangling bottles and no undressing, so you can express while nursing, working, preparing food, commuting or shopping. Because both options come in the box, you can switch depending on the day rather than buying a second setup.

Modes and suction control

The pump offers three modes, each with nine suction levels, so you can adjust the setting to what feels comfortable rather than reaching for the highest number. It can be used for single or double pumping, which is useful if you're expressing one side while feeding on the other, or double pumping to shorten a session. A touch-screen control panel handles the settings.

Comfort and flange fit

Fit matters more than maximum suction when it comes to comfortable expressing, and this kit is built around 24 mm breast shields with silicone converters that size the fit down to 21 mm. Additional flange sizes (27 mm, 30 mm and 36 mm) are available separately if you need a different fit — bra size isn't a reliable guide to flange size, so it's worth checking your measurement against the sizing that suits you.

The motor runs on an internal rechargeable lithium battery and charges over USB, so you're not tied to a wall socket for every session — handy for pumping away from a plug point or working around load-shedding.
