  1. Trim the wick to 3 mm before each burn using candle scissors.
  2. On the first burn, let the candle burn until the top layer of wax melts fully to the edges of the glass — this helps prevent tunnelling.
  3. Extinguish the flame gently with a snuffer to prevent smoking.
  4. Once only 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom, stop burning the candle for safety.
