Tryco Wooden Parking Garage

The Tryco Wooden Parking Garage is a wooden multi-level play garage that gives children a ready-made setting for small-world and pretend play. With parking spaces, a car wash, a barrier, a helipad, a hoist lift and an electric charging point, it invites little ones to drive cars in and out, park up, wash, refuel and take off — building their own busy town-garage world as they go.

Finished in a modern anthracite colour and made from wood, it comes with everything needed to start playing straight away, including road signs, four cars and a helicopter. It's designed for children from 3 years, an age when driving vehicles through a scene, narrating what's happening and repeating favourite routines becomes a big part of play.

What makes it different

Rather than a single ramp, the garage layers several familiar real-world features into one structure, so there's more than one thing to do. Children can send cars through the car wash, lift the barrier at the entrance, land the helicopter on the helipad, work the hoist lift by hand, and pull up at the charging point for electric cars — a nice nod to how vehicles are fuelled today.

How it Works

• Manual hoist lift: The lift is operated by hand, so children control it themselves as they move cars between levels — good for fine motor movement and cause-and-effect play.
• Multiple play stations: The car wash, barrier, helipad and charging point each offer a small task to act out, giving several starting points for a story rather than one repeated action.
• Open-ended small-world setup: The included cars, helicopter and road signs let children arrange, narrate and reset their own scenes however they like.

Best For

The Tryco Wooden Parking Garage is a great option for parents who:

• Are looking for a wooden pretend-play set for a child from 3 years
• Want a toy that supports open-ended, imaginative small-world play
• Like the idea of several play features — car wash, lift, helipad and charging point — in one structure

It may not be the best fit if you:

• Need a toy suitable for a child under 3
• Are short on shelf or play space, as it stands 45 x 31 x 45 cm

Pandylane Pro Tip: Keep the four cars, helicopter and road signs in a small labelled box or basket beside the garage — with several loose pieces, a set spot to return them to makes tidy-up quicker and means nothing goes missing before the next play session.
