  • BACSHIELD antibacterial spout: Silver phosphate glass in the semi-soft part of the spout releases silver ions that help stop unwanted microbes from multiplying. The manufacturer states this reduces bacteria by up to 99.9%, which helps guard the spout against the microbe growth that can cause degradation, discolouration, staining or odour. The spout material is tested to ISO 22196 standards.
