The Tommee Tippee Sangenic Twist & Click Starter Kit is a dedicated nappy disposal bin that individually twists and wraps each soiled nappy in antibacterial film, sealing away odours and germs so your nursery or changing area stays fresher between empties. Powered by the Sangenic system, it's designed to make the daily job of nappy disposal cleaner and more contained than dropping nappies into an ordinary kitchen bin.
It arrives ready to use with a refill cassette already loaded, so you can start wrapping from the first change. Drop the nappy in, twist the lid, and the built-in plunger pushes it deep into the bin while your hands stay clean. Its slimline, compact shape is made to tuck neatly into a corner of the changing station where floor space is tight.
How it works
- Twist and wrap: Each nappy is individually wrapped as you twist the smart sealing lid, so odours and germs are sealed inside the film rather than escaping every time the bin is opened.
- Inbuilt plunger: A plunger pushes each nappy down into the bin, keeping your hands away from the waste.
- Antibacterial film: The multi-layer film is treated with a silver-based biocide, tested to ISO 22196:2011, to inhibit bacterial growth by up to 99%. The antibacterial protection is in the film only, not the other components.
A more eco-conscious design
The Twist & Click chassis is made from 98% recyclable and fully recyclable plastic, and the film is a bio-based GREENFILM made from sustainably sourced sugarcane. It's a considered update if you're trying to reduce the plastic footprint of everyday changing without giving up the convenience of a sealed system.
Capacity and refills
The bin holds up to 28 nappies at a time, which helps stretch out how often you need to empty it. It runs on Sangenic Twist & Click refill cassettes, so it's worth keeping a spare on hand so you're never caught without film mid-change.
Best For
The Tommee Tippee Sangenic Twist & Click Starter Kit is a great option for parents who:
- Want odour and germ containment in a nursery, flat or small changing area rather than relying on a kitchen bin
- Prefer a one-handed, hands-clean routine while supervising baby
- Are looking for a more recyclable, plant-based film option
It may not be the best fit if you:
- Use cloth nappies and need a dry pail or wet bag for laundering rather than a disposable-waste system
- Would rather avoid an ongoing refill cassette to buy
Good to know
The antibacterial treatment is a silver-based biocide contained in the film — please use biocides responsibly. Individually wrapping and sealing nappies helps contain odour and germs, but it doesn't replace normal waste handling, and full bags should still go out with your household refuse in line with local municipal guidance.
Pandylane Pro Tip: Load a fresh cassette before the current one runs low and keep a spare in the changing station drawer, so a busy nappy change never grinds to a halt because you've run out of film.
