The Tommee Tippee Sangenic Twist & Click Cassette is a refill for your Twist & Click nappy disposal bin, giving you a fresh supply of antibacterial film so each soiled nappy is individually wrapped as you go. Powered by Sangenic, it's built around a simple idea: instead of relying on a single sealed lid, every nappy is twisted into its own pocket of film, which helps keep odours and germs contained inside the bin between empties.
It's a practical option if ordinary kitchen-bin disposal has become inconvenient in a nursery or smaller space, and it keeps the changing-station routine hands-friendly. Because you're refilling and reusing the same bin, it also cuts down on the plastic a full bin would otherwise use.
Antibacterial, multi-layer film
The film is a multi-layer construction treated with a silver-based biocide, tested to ISO 22196:2011 to inhibit bacterial growth by up to 99%. It's worth noting that this antibacterial protection is present in the film itself, not in the other components of the product. Wrapping each nappy individually is what helps trap unpleasant odours before they escape.
How it works
- Individual wrapping: Each nappy is twisted into its own section of film, so waste is sealed off one nappy at a time rather than sitting loose in an open liner.
- Antibacterial film: The film is treated to inhibit bacterial growth by up to 99% (ISO 22196:2011), which supports the bin's odour and hygiene workflow — bearing in mind the treatment is in the film only.
- Refill and reuse: The cassette tops up your existing bin, so you keep reusing the same unit and generate less plastic overall.
A more eco-conscious refill
The film is now bio-based, made from sustainably sourced sugarcane GREENFILM™, and the Twist & Click cassettes are made from 98% recycled and fully recyclable plastic. Tommee Tippee's emphasis here is on recycling and reuse rather than biodegradability, so plan disposal of the wrapped waste according to your local municipal guidance — soiled nappies should still go into your normal household waste, and nappies and wet wipes should never be flushed.
Capacity and fit
Each refill provides 10.5 metres of film, holding 100 or more nappies (based on size 1 nappies) — roughly a month's worth for many families, though the real count depends on nappy size and how tightly each is wrapped. It's designed for the Tommee Tippee Twist & Click nappy bin system (and Simplee bins), so check that your bin matches before ordering.
