The Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Machine is a countertop formula prep machine that makes a fresh bottle of powdered formula at body temperature in less than two minutes — no waiting for the kettle to boil and then cool down. If you're bottle-feeding with formula, it's designed to take some of the fiddle and guesswork out of preparation, which is especially welcome during night feeds when your baby is hungry and you want a bottle ready quickly.

It works with any brand of powdered infant formula and has an adjustable base to suit different bottle shapes and sizes. You add the powder to your baby's bottle, and the machine handles the water side of things — measuring out the right volume and dispensing it in two stages so the finished feed comes out at a comfortable body temperature, ready to feed straight away.

How it works

  • Hot shot first: A press of the button releases a measured "hot shot" of water at around 70°C, hot enough to kill bacteria that may be present in the formula powder as it mixes in.
  • Cooler water to finish: After you shake the bottle, a second press dispenses cooler water to bring the feed down to body temperature, so there's no separate cooling step.
  • Antibacterial filter: An internal antibacterial membrane is designed to remove bacteria, impurities and contaminants, which means you can prepare feeds using tap water rather than bottled or pre-boiled water.
  • Consistent dilution: The machine dispenses the correct amount of water each time for a more accurate and consistent powder-to-water mix.

How to use

  1. Add the formula to your baby's bottle following the exact directions on your formula tin.
  2. Press the power button to release the hot shot of water into the bottle.
  3. Shake the bottle to mix the formula thoroughly.
  4. Press the button again to dispense cooler water and bring the feed to body temperature.
