Returns Made Easy

Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns on this product once it’s been opened. This is usually because:

  • It’s a hygiene or sanitary product
  • It’s single-use
  • It’s a final sale or clearance item

If there’s a defect or fault, though, it’s always covered as a warranty claim.

If the item is still unopened, you can return it within 30 days of receiving it. Just request a return from your account or through our chat, and we’ll handle the rest.

Returns are always free within 7 days. After that, if you’re returning it because you’ve changed your mind, you may need to cover the return cost. You can send it back yourself, or we can arrange a courier and give you an upfront quote — direct from the courier. If your return is for any other reason, it’s free.

  • Made for the Perfect Prep: Compatible with all Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep machines, so it's the correct replacement part for the system.
  • Straight from the tap: Designed for use with water straight from the tap, giving you clean, safe water to make up a feed without bottled or pre-boiled water.
  • Anti-bacterial membrane: A unique filtration membrane designed to remove bacteria, impurities and other contaminants found in water — something standard water filters don't include.
  • Kettle-quality water, faster: Aims to give you water like boiled water from the kettle, but without the waiting and cooling.
  • Lasts up to 3 months: Each filter is rated for up to three months, based on preparing six 9oz bottles per day.
  • No guesswork on changes: Your machine and app let you know when it's time to fit a fresh filter.
  • Warranty-friendly: Using genuine Tommee Tippee filters keeps you within your Perfect Prep warranty terms.

The Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Filter is the replacement filter for your Perfect Prep machine, designed to treat ordinary tap water so it's ready to make up a bottle feed. As water passes through the filter's ultra-filtration membrane, it's dispensed into baby's bottle clean and safe — the idea being to give you water like boiled water from the kettle, but without the waiting and cooling. This is the anti-bacterial replacement filter (SKU TMT048), so it's the part you swap out to keep your machine working the way it's meant to.

It's compatible with all Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep machines and is designed for use with water straight from the tap, which means there's no need to keep bottled, filtered or pre-boiled water on hand for feeds. Each filter is designed to last up to three months, and your machine and its app will let you know when it's time to fit a fresh one — so you're not left guessing.

How it works

  • Ultra-filtration membrane: Tap water is drawn through a filtration membrane designed to remove bacteria, impurities and other contaminants that can be found in water.
  • Anti-bacterial protection: Unlike standard water filters, this one includes an anti-bacterial filtration membrane, which is what allows it to treat tap water for use in a feed.
  • Timed replacement: Filtration performance is rated for up to three months, based on preparing six 9oz bottles per day, and the machine and app track this for you.

When to replace it

Filter life depends on how much you use your machine. The three-month guide is based on around six 9oz bottles a day, so heavier or lighter use may shift that timing. Keeping to the recommended schedule — and following the prompts from your machine and app — helps the filtration stay effective between changes.

Disclaimer

You should only use Tommee Tippee filters in your Perfect Prep machine. Using other filters may void your warranty. This filter is an accessory for use with the Perfect Prep system and works alongside the machine's instructions; always follow the exact directions supplied with your machine and your formula, and speak to a healthcare professional if you have concerns about preparing feeds safely.

Pandylane Pro Tip: Fit a fresh filter as soon as your machine or app flags it, rather than waiting until you notice a change — keeping a spare on hand means you're never caught short mid-routine.
