The Tommee Tippee Natural Start Newborn Starter Kit brings the everyday feeding essentials together in one box, so you have what you need for those first weeks of bottle feeding without piecing a set together yourself. Built around the Natural Start range of wide-neck baby bottles, it pairs soft silicone teats with a couple of soothers and a cleaning brush — a practical starting point whether you're expressing, combination feeding or bottle feeding from the start.

At the heart of the kit are the Natural Start bottles and their soft, flexible silicone teats. The teat has a breast-like, extra-wide shape designed to encourage a natural latch and let baby feed at their own pace, while a built-in anti-colic valve is designed to reduce air intake during feeds. The bottles are made from BPA-, BPS- and phthalate-free polypropylene, and measure 7.5 cm across at their broadest point.

What the kit covers

You get a mix of bottle sizes to suit a growing appetite — smaller 150 ml bottles for early, lighter feeds and larger 260 ml bottles for when intake increases — plus a set of medium-flow teats, two 0–6 month nighttime soothers and a bottle and teat brush for cleaning. It's a rounded starting set that covers feeding, settling and cleaning in one go.

How it Works

• Breast-like teat shape: The extra-wide, soft silicone teat is shaped to encourage a natural latch, and is designed to help make switching between breast and bottle and back again easier.
• Anti-colic valve: A valve built into the teat is designed to reduce the air baby takes in during feeds, which helps to reduce the symptoms of colic.
• Paced feeding: The soft teat flexes and stretches so baby can feed comfortably at their own pace.
• Leakproof seal: With the screw ring, teat and cap all secured, the bottle is 100% leakproof — even turned upside down or shaken.
• Orthodontic soothers: The included nighttime soothers are designed to compress in baby's mouth to avoid putting pressure on the teeth.

How to Use

The Natural Start bottles are self-sterilising in the microwave in just three minutes:

1. Add 50 ml of water, using the dotted line as a guide.
2. Rest the assembled lid, ring and teat on top of the bottle without fastening them.
3. Microwave for 3 minutes.

If you don't have a microwave, you can still sterilise safely by placing all the parts in boiling water for 5 minutes, or by using a cold-water sterilising solution — tablets or liquid such as Milton — designed for this purpose.
