The Tommee Tippee Natural Start 260ml Self-Sterilising Bottle is a wide-neck baby bottle with a soft silicone teat, made for feeding expressed milk or formula from birth. It's part of the Natural Start range, which is built around a flexible, breast-like teat that flexes and stretches — designed to help make moving between breast and bottle feel more natural if you're combination feeding or introducing a bottle for the first time.

What sets this bottle apart is that it sterilises itself. There's no separate steriliser to buy or store: the bottle steam-sterilises in the microwave in about three minutes using nothing more than a little water, thanks to small vents built into the screw-ring collar.

Soft silicone teat shaped for an easy latch

The extra-wide teat is made from soft, flexible silicone that flexes and stretches, which is designed to encourage an easy latch and let your baby feed at their own pace. The 260ml bottle comes with a slow flow teat (0m+), suited to newborns and younger babies who are still finding their feeding rhythm.

Built-in anti-colic valve

Each teat has a built-in anti-colic valve that's designed to help reduce the air your baby takes in during feeds. Three-step self-sterilising

You can sterilise the bottle in your microwave without any extra equipment:

1. Add 50ml of water, using the dotted line as a guide.
2. Rest the assembled lid, ring and teat on top, but don't fasten them.
3. Microwave for 3 minutes.

If you'd rather not use the microwave, all parts can be placed in boiling water for 5 minutes as an alternative sterilising method.

Leakproof and easy to fit into your routine

With the screw ring, teat and cap all secured, the bottle is leakproof even when turned upside down or shaken, which helps keep bags and changing stations mess-free. It's made without BPA, BPS and phthalates, and it's compatible with the Tommee Tippee Made for Me breast pump, so you can express straight into the bottle if that suits your set-up.
