The Tommee Tippee Micro-Steam Microwave Steriliser is a compact microwave steam steriliser that gives you a quick, portable way to treat your baby's feeding equipment after washing. Using 100% steam and no chemicals, it sterilises up to four bottles in around four minutes, making it a practical option whether you're at home, staying over somewhere or packing light for a trip.

Steam sterilising happens after cleaning — you wash your bottles, teats and accessories first, then load them into the unit and let the microwave do the rest. It's tested to kill viruses and 99.9% of harmful bacteria, and once the cycle finishes, contents stay sterile for up to 24 hours if you keep the lid closed. That makes it easy to run everything through in one go and reach for a ready bottle when you need it.

How it works

• Microwave steam: The unit generates 100% steam inside your microwave to treat cleaned bottles and feeding parts, with no chemicals involved.
• Tested germ reduction: It kills 99.9% of harmful bacteria, and has been tested against Coronavirus and Influenza H1N1 (tested to EN 16777).
• Sterile for up to 24 hours: When the cycle is done, use the contents straight away, or leave the lid closed and they'll stay sterile for up to 24 hours.
• Lid as a prep surface: The lid doubles up as a sterile surface for making up your baby's bottles.

What you can sterilise

It's suitable for baby bottles, soothers, breast pumps and feeding accessories, and takes glass, polypropylene (PP) and silicone bottles alike — including the lids. It's also sized to fit larger bottles rather than just newborn ones, and most brands fit. The steriliser is BPA free, measures 27.8 cm x 27.5 cm x 15.3 cm and weighs a little under a kilogram, so it's easy to move around or pack. It also comes with a pair of tongs and a 0–6m soother to get you started.
