Sophie la Girafe Flashing Baby On Board Card

The Sophie la Girafe Flashing Baby On Board Card is a car window sign shaped like the well-known Sophie la girafe character, designed to let other drivers know there's a baby travelling in your car. It fixes to your rear window and uses flashing LEDs to make the familiar "baby on board" message easy to spot on the road.

What sets this one apart is that it works on its own once you're driving. A built-in motion sensor automatically switches on the flashing lights whenever the car starts moving, so there's nothing to press or remember each trip. The LEDs are concealed within Sophie la girafe's spots and flash in red, green and yellow, which the design uses to draw attention and encourage gentle driving from the cars around you.

How it Works

• Motion-activated lights: A built-in motion sensor automatically activates the flashing LEDs whenever the car starts moving, so the sign switches on by itself once you set off.
• Concealed coloured LEDs: The lights are hidden within Sophie la girafe's spots and flash in red, green and yellow to catch the eye of other drivers.
• Window attachment: A suction pad holds the card in place on the car's rear window.

Materials and design

The card is made from polyester and silicone, and carries the recognisable Sophie la girafe design that makes the message clear at a glance to drivers behind you.

Pandylane Pro Tip

Pandylane Pro Tip: Position the sign to one side of the rear window rather than in the centre, so it never blocks your own view through the rear-view mirror. A quick wipe of the glass before pressing the suction pad on helps it hold firmly.

Disclaimer

This is a display accessory, not a safety device. It's designed to alert other drivers that a baby is on board and does not form part of any child restraint or affect how your car seat performs. Always make sure it's placed where it won't obstruct the driver's view.
