Made from 100% breathable cotton, it wraps snugly around baby to recreate the tight, cosy feeling of the womb — a familiar way to help settle a newborn who startles easily or resists being put down in the early weeks.

Swaddling contains baby's arms and gives that reassuring, held sensation many little ones look for after birth. This wrap is designed to make swaddling straightforward, so you can get a neat, snug wrap without a lot of folding or fuss during those bleary-eyed newborn days.

Safe sleep and use

Swaddling may help some young babies settle, but it does not reduce the risk of SIDS. Stop using an arms-in swaddle as soon as your baby shows any signs of trying to roll, following the guidance on the product. Always place baby on their back to sleep on a firm, flat, level surface with a clear sleep space, and make sure the wrap is snug around the chest but leaves room for the hips and legs to move. Check that baby isn't becoming too warm, and keep the fabric well clear of the face.
