Fast Nationwide Delivery for R99

Delivery, sorted.

We’re committed to getting your order to you quickly, and hassle-free. While we do carry a lot of stock in our store, we do sometimes have to order in from suppliers.

Processing Time

If this item is in stock, it’s processed within 2 hours, often much quicker.

If this item needs to come in from our supplier, it usually takes 1-2 days for us to receive it. As soon as it arrives, we’ll pack your order and prep it for delivery.

Delivery Time

Once your order is packed, it’s immediately booked with one of our courier partners. From there, delivery usually takes a couple days:

  • Click & Collect
  • Locker Delivery with PUDO or Bob Box

More About Timelines

Timelines are estimates, based on our averages and couriers’ commitments. We always aim to get your order to you quicker than this — but they’re not a guarantee. Wherever your order is in the journey, we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

Returns Made Easy

Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns on this product once it’s been opened. This is usually because:

  • It’s a hygiene or sanitary product
  • It’s single-use
  • It’s a final sale or clearance item

If there’s a defect or fault, though, it’s always covered as a warranty claim.

If the item is still unopened, you can return it within 30 days of receiving it. Just request a return from your account or through our chat, and we’ll handle the rest.

Returns are always free within 7 days. After that, if you’re returning it because you’ve changed your mind, you may need to cover the return cost. You can send it back yourself, or we can arrange a courier and give you an upfront quote — direct from the courier. If your return is for any other reason, it’s free.

Warranty

Warranty Period: 6 Months Limited Warranty

This product’s warranty is provided by the manufacturer/distributor. As an authorised retailer, any purchase from us qualifies for the full manufacturer’s warranty — no exceptions.

Warranty claims are handled directly by the manufacturer or distributor, so we’ll refer you to the right team to get your claim underway. That said, we don’t just hand you off and disappear — we stay involved and follow up from our side to help make sure your claim is resolved promptly.

For most claims, all you’ll need is proof of purchase.

Goes great with ...
  • Soft bamboo cover: The bamboo slip cover is silky and smooth to the touch.
  • Nanotect PU foam inner: A foam core provides the cushioned body of the bumper beneath the cover.
  • Full-depth ventilation holes: Holes run right through the foam to allow air to move around it.
  • Naturally absorbent fibre: Bamboo fibre takes up more moisture than cotton.
  • Breathable fabric: The bamboo cover is a breathable, soft-touch natural fibre.
  • Removable slip cover: The cover slips off the foam inner to make cleaning easier.
  • Universal fit: Designed to suit the sides of most standard cots, measuring about 2000 mm long.
  • Eco-friendly fibre: Bamboo fibre is 100% biodegradable.

The Snuggletime Bamboo Cot Bumper — also listed as the Bamboopaedic Cot Bumper and Cover — is a foam cot bumper wrapped in a soft bamboo slip cover, made to line the inside sides of a cot. It pairs a Nanotect PU foam inner with a silky bamboo-fibre cover, and runs full-depth ventilation holes right through the foam so air can move around it.

The bamboo slip cover is smooth and soft to the touch, and bamboo fibre is naturally absorbent — it takes up more moisture than cotton — as well as breathable and, as a fibre, 100% biodegradable. The cover slips off the foam inner, which makes it easier to keep clean. The bumper measures roughly 2000 mm long, 293 mm high and 20 mm thick, weighs around 800 g, and is designed as a universal fit, so it can be sized to line the sides of most standard cots.

Materials and finish

The inner is a Nanotect PU foam, finished in grey foam with a white mesh, while the removable slip cover is a natural-coloured bamboo fabric. The soft, muted palette suits most nursery schemes without drawing attention.

How to fit and use it

Because a bumper is an aftermarket accessory, how it's fitted matters. Snuggletime's directions ask you to secure the bumper firmly in place against the cot, and to keep to safe-sleep basics alongside it: place baby on their back to sleep from birth, and check on your baby regularly. Always follow both your cot manufacturer's instructions and the bumper's directions when fitting it.

Please read before use

Current safe-sleep guidance from bodies such as UNICEF South Africa recommends a clear infant sleep space — a firm, flat mattress covered only by a fitted sheet, with baby placed on their back. Cot bumpers are not part of that recommended clear sleep setup, and this product should not be understood as protection against knocks, limb entrapment, suffocation, strangulation or SIDS. If you choose to use a bumper, follow the fitting directions exactly, inspect the fasteners and fit regularly, and reassess as your baby grows and begins to reach, sit, pull up or stand. If you're unsure what's suitable for your baby's cot and stage, speak to your clinic sister or healthcare provider.
