Returns Made Easy

Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns on this product once it’s been opened. This is usually because:

  • It’s a hygiene or sanitary product
  • It’s single-use
  • It’s a final sale or clearance item

If there’s a defect or fault, though, it’s always covered as a warranty claim.

If the item is still unopened, you can return it within 30 days of receiving it. Just request a return from your account or through our chat, and we’ll handle the rest.

Returns are always free within 7 days. After that, if you’re returning it because you’ve changed your mind, you may need to cover the return cost. You can send it back yourself, or we can arrange a courier and give you an upfront quote — direct from the courier. If your return is for any other reason, it’s free.

The Pigeon SofTouch Teats are replacement teats (nipples) for the Pigeon SofTouch wide-neck bottle system, made from super-soft, flexible matt silicone. They're what you reach for when a teat is worn, when you want a spare on hand, or when your baby is ready to move up a flow. Available in six sizes from SS through to LLL, they let you keep your existing SofTouch bottles going and adjust the flow as your baby grows.

These are the upgraded SofTouch teats launched in 2022, developed off more than 60 years of Pigeon research into how babies suck at the breast. They're shaped to functionally mimic those natural feeding movements, which is why they're often chosen by parents feeding from both breast and bottle. A research-based latch-on line marks where baby's lips should sit to help with positioning and attachment, and the softer silicone is designed to feel close to a mother's breast. The teats are BPA free and made with 20% ISCC-certified bio-based plastic, reducing reliance on non-renewable virgin plastic.

Sizes to match your baby's development

Each SofTouch size has its own shape, hole size and silicone hardness to give a suitable milk flow in gentle increments. The age guide is a starting point — your baby's feeding ability and cues are the better guide to which flow actually suits them.

SS — Newborns (0+ months) Round-cut opening for consistent, gradual milk flow. Designed to support an undeveloped jaw.
S — Infants (1+ months) Round-cut opening so milk drips out consistently, helping infants with still-developing jaw muscles.
M — 3+ months Y-cut opening that allows a controlled flow under pressure, aiding jaw development and intake control.
L — 6+ months A slightly larger Y-cut than M, for controlled flow and stronger jaw muscles.
LL — 9+ months A larger Y-cut than L, assisting flow control and further jaw development.
LLL — 15+ months For babies with well-developed jaw muscles; milk flows with pressure to support flow control and sucking ability.

The SS size is supplied as a single teat, while the larger sizes come as a pair.

  • Soft, breast-like silicone: The matt silicone is shaped to functionally mimic the sucking movements babies make at the breast, which can ease the transition between breast and bottle.
  • Air ventilation system: A vent at the base is part of the anti-colic design, intended to minimise the air baby swallows as they drink.
  • Round-cut to Y-cut progression: Newborn sizes use a round hole for a gentle, gradual flow, while the larger sizes use a Y-cut that only releases milk under pressure, so the flow follows baby's growing ability.

These teats are clinically tested. Signs a flow may be too fast (coughing, gulping, milk leaking or pulling away) or too slow (very long, effortful feeds or frustration) are worth watching for, and persistent feeding difficulty is best discussed with a healthcare professional.
