Pigeon Softouch 2-Step Straw Bottle Set 240ml

The Pigeon SofTouch 2-Step Straw Bottle Set (240ml) is a wide-neck straw cup system designed to help your little one move from nursing or bottle feeding towards independent straw drinking. It pairs a 240ml SofTouch nursing bottle (PP) with two interchangeable straw tops for different stages, so the same familiar bottle can grow with your baby as their drinking skills develop.

Because it builds on Pigeon's SofTouch wide-neck design, the set aims to make the switch feel less like a whole new object and more like a gentle next step. The training straw top has a round tip shaped similarly to the SofTouch nipple, giving babies a familiar feel as they practise lip closure and learn to draw a drink through a straw. It's a practical pick for parents who want a cup to introduce alongside solids, or as part of moving away from the bottle when your baby shows they're ready.

Two straw stages in one set

The "2-Step" refers to the two straw tops included, each suited to a different point in the journey:

• Training Straw Top (6M+): A round tip with a Y-cut, shaped much like the SofTouch nipple, to help babies practise natural lip closure and start using a straw with a familiar feel.
• Drinking Straw Top (12M+): A flat tip with an X-cut valve that supports a higher flow rate, ready for the bigger sips of a growing toddler.

How it works

• Gravity ball straw: The straw connector uses a weighted gravity ball, so your baby can drink at multiple angles rather than having to hold the cup perfectly upright.
• One-piece silicone design: The connector and gravity ball straw are a single, sealed silicone piece, which keeps things secure and easy to keep clean with no hidden spots for dirt to collect.
• Bottle handle: The included SofTouch handle is shaped for little hands to grip, giving your baby more control as they learn to bring the cup to their mouth.

Materials and cleaning

The bottle is made from polypropylene (PP) containing 20% ISCC-certified bio-based plastic, which helps reduce reliance on virgin plastics, and the set is BPA/BPS free. A slim, flexible straw brush is included to reach inside the gravity ball straw, since straws and valves are exactly the sort of parts that trap moisture and residue if they aren't cleaned properly.

How to Use

1. After each use, rinse in warm water immediately, then wash using a Pigeon Liquid Cleanser.
2. Disassemble all parts — bottle, straw, lid and straw valve — and use a sponge brush on the bottle.
3. Use the straw brush to clean thoroughly inside the straw.
4. Wash with warm soapy water and rinse well.
5. Sterilise the parts that are safe for sterilisation.
6. Replace the straw or valve parts if the flow reduces or you notice any damage.

Best For

The Pigeon SofTouch 2-Step Straw Bottle Set is a great option for parents who:

• Are introducing straw drinking around the start of solids, often from about six months or when baby shows interest
• Already use the SofTouch wide-neck system and want a straw set that fits their existing routine
• Want one cup that can carry through two stages with a swap of the straw top

It may not be the best fit if you:

• Are looking for an open-cup format to practise open-rim drinking
• Prefer a slim narrow-neck bottle system

Disclaimer

The straw top's valve design is intended to help minimise leaks when the cup is tipped, but no cup is completely leak-proof — especially if the straw or valve becomes damaged, or if the cup is overfilled. Straw drinking should always be supervised, and any concerns about your baby's feeding or drinking are best discussed with your healthcare professional.

Pandylane Pro Tip: The included handle and straw tops fit across the Pigeon SofTouch PP nursing bottle range (240ml and 330ml, excluding glass), so if you already have a compatible SofTouch bottle, you can move the straw system onto it as your baby's drink volumes grow.
