The Pigeon Mag Mag Step Up Cup is a 200 ml toddler cup with interchangeable drinking tops, designed to support your baby as they move from early sipping to independent drinking. It comes with two tops that work in sequence: a soft spout top to start with, and a straw top to step up to once your little one is ready for the next skill. That makes it a practical training cup to grow into, rather than two separate cups you'd have to buy along the way.

Both tops fit the same cup body, so the piece that changes is only the part your baby drinks from. A cheerful lion motif on the cup gives it a bit of character for mealtimes and the nappy bag alike.

How the step-up system works

  • Spout top first: The spout is soft and gentle on the gums, with a cross-cut opening designed to reduce spills. The angled handles make it easier for your baby to hold and tip the cup while they're still learning.
  • Straw top next: The soft silicone straw is angled to help your baby drink down to the last drop, and it also uses a cross-cut opening to help reduce spills. Wide handles give a secure grip as they gain confidence.
  • Leak consideration: The tops are designed to help prevent leaks, which is useful when the cup is going into a bag or moving around the house.

How to use and clean

Sterilise the cup and tops before every use. It's suitable for boiling, steam and chemical sterilisation. For boiling or steaming, wash the parts thoroughly, place them in water, bring it to the boil, and sterilise for 5 minutes once the water is boiling. Chemical and microwave sterilisation are also possible following the user's manual, though chemical sterilisation may cause the printing on the cup to fade over time.

Sterilize before every use using one of the following methods:

  • Boiling/Steaming: Thoroughly wash the product, place in water, bring to a boil, and sterilize for 5 minutes after the water starts boiling.
  • Chemical sterilization (follow user's manual instructions — printing may fade with this method)
  • Microwave sterilization (follow user's manual instructions)
