The Pigeon Blue SofTouch Peristaltic Plus PP Bottle 240ml is a wide-neck baby bottle for feeding expressed milk or formula, and it comes with Pigeon's SofTouch™ Peristaltic PLUS teat. With a 240ml capacity, it suits older babies taking bigger feeds, while the wide-neck shape makes it easy to fill, scoop into and clean.

It's part of Pigeon's SofTouch™ wide-neck family, which is built around a broad, textured teat and an Air Ventilation System (AVS) that lets air into the bottle as your baby drinks. If you're combining breast and bottle feeding, or moving expressed milk into a bottle, this system is designed with that everyday routine in mind.

The SofTouch™ Peristaltic PLUS teat

The wide-neck SofTouch™ teat has a soft, textured surface and is shaped to sit comfortably in the mouth during feeds. The Air Ventilation System (AVS) is an anti-colic vent that's designed to let air flow into the bottle as your baby sucks, rather than letting a vacuum build up. As with any anti-colic design, this describes how the teat is built to work — every baby feeds a little differently, so let your baby's own cues guide you.

Materials and everyday care

The bottle body is made from PP (polypropylene), a lightweight, shatter-resistant plastic, and it's free from BPA and BPS. Pigeon recommends replacing PP bottles roughly every 6 to 9 months, depending on how many bottles you have in rotation, so it's worth keeping an eye on the condition of the teat and body over time.

How to Use

  1. Before first use and after every use, wash the bottle and teat thoroughly and sterilise them.
  2. Insert the teat into the top of the bottle cap or collar.
  3. Press down firmly to check the teat is secure and sitting evenly.
  4. Press the teat to make sure the air ventilation system opens.
  5. Screw the collar onto the bottle.

Compatibility

This Pigeon wide-neck bottle is compatible with all Pigeon SofTouch™ teats, so you can adjust the teat flow as your baby's feeding changes without needing to switch to a different bottle system. Keep in mind that SofTouch™ wide-neck teats and Pigeon's Flexible™ slim-neck teats are not interchangeable.
