The Pigeon Baby Laundry Detergent Refill is a 450ml refill of concentrated liquid detergent made for washing baby clothing, bedding and other washable textiles by hand or in the machine. It's formulated to lift the everyday messes that come with a new baby — milk stains, nappy and diaper leaks, poop, urine, and fruit and food marks — so garments come out clean without a heavy-duty adult detergent.

At the heart of it is Pigeon's Trap, Lift and Clean Technology, a Japan-inspired formula designed to attract and lift dirt at the same time and then rinse away cleanly. The formula is deliberately low-foam, which makes rinsing easier — a real help when you're washing baby items by hand and don't want to spend ages working suds out of the fabric.

What it's designed to tackle

Baby laundry tends to be less about grime and more about specific, stubborn marks. This detergent is aimed squarely at those: milk and formula stains, nappy and diaper leaks, and the fruit and food stains that arrive with weaning. For tougher marks, a quick pre-treat step before washing helps it work more effectively.

A gentler approach for baby fabrics

The formula is enzyme-free and contains no artificial colouring, and it's dermatologically tested. It uses a plant-based (palm-based) surfactant and is designed to be gentle on baby's skin while still shifting stains. Because it's concentrated, a little goes a long way per load, and the refill pouch lets you top up a bottle you already have rather than buying new packaging each time.

It also helps with the musty odour that clothes can pick up when they're dried indoors — useful during wetter, colder stretches — with musty odour removal within 24 hours.

How to Use

For tough stains, pre-treat before washing:

  1. Apply the detergent directly to the stain.
  2. Rub gently into the fabric.
  3. Soak, then wash by hand or machine.

Dosing per fully loaded wash:

Top loader 25ml (1 cup)
Front loader 25ml + 25ml (2 cups)
Hand wash 5ml
