Returns Made Easy

Before the first use, place the teething ring in boiling water for 5 minutes, using plenty of water to avoid damaging it. To keep it hygienic, clean it thoroughly with a mild washing-up liquid and sterilise it before every further use. NUK recommends its own steriliser, though any suitable sterilising method will do the job.

Safety and suitability

Teethers are for awake, directly supervised use only. Keep the ring out of the cot and away from the infant sleep space, and never attach it to baby's neck or clothing with a cord. Inspect it regularly for cuts, splits or any signs of wear, and replace it if the material becomes damaged. Teething is a normal stage — if your baby seems genuinely unwell, has a fever or symptoms that concern you, speak to a healthcare professional rather than putting it down to teeth.
