A teat shaped around how babies suck

NUK shapes the teat with a curved upper surface and a flatter, scooped underside, rather than a rounded all-over profile. It's designed to sit against the palate while leaving the tongue room to move naturally. The baglet is kept flat, thin and narrow so it fits comfortably into a small mouth, and the thin teat neck is designed to reduce pressure on the developing jaws and teeth. Because the teat is asymmetric, it's meant to be inserted the right way up — the curved side to the roof of the mouth.

The updated design softens the flowing lines of NUK's familiar heart-shaped mouth shield and gives the grip ring a more modern look. The pack comes in a green and a pink design (Frogs and Stars), and the ring makes the soother easy to pick up or reposition.

A reusable box that doubles as a steriliser

Each pack includes a sturdy, reusable transport box — a genuinely useful extra rather than throwaway packaging. It keeps the soother protected from dirt and moisture when you're out and about, and at home it works as a microwave steam steriliser, so you don't need a separate device for a quick clean.

How to Use

Before the very first use, place the soothers in boiling water for 5 minutes, using enough water to avoid damaging them. Before every further use, clean thoroughly with a mild washing-up liquid, then sterilise. After cleaning or sterilising, squeeze out any water trapped inside the mouthpiece and leave the soother to dry.

To sterilise in the box using a microwave:

1. Place the soothers inside the case with the teats facing downward.
2. Add water up to the indicated line and close the lid.
3. Microwave for four minutes.
4. Carefully remove the case, pour out any remaining water, and let the soothers cool before use.

Please don't clean the soother in a dishwasher, as the detergents can damage it.
