NUK Magic Cup 230ml

The NUK Magic Cup 230ml is a 360° training cup that helps toddlers take the step from a bottle or spouted cup towards drinking like a big kid. Instead of a spout or a straw, it has a drinking rim your child can sip from at any point around the edge — close to the feel of an ordinary open cup, but with a sealing system that keeps the mess in check between sips.

Recommended from 8 months, this 360° drinking cup holds 230ml and is made from high-quality, BPA-free polypropylene (PP). It comes decorated with playful animal motifs and includes a protective cap that keeps the rim clean and hygienic when the cup is tucked into a nappy bag for outings.

How the Magic Cup works

• 360° drinking rim: Your child can drink from any side of the rim, which is closer to the action of an open cup than a spout or straw — they simply suck the rim a little to release the liquid.
• Silicone sealing disc: A soft silicone disc seals the rim from the inside and only lets liquid through when your child sucks, which is what NUK's leak-proof design relies on to hold liquid in between sips.
• Colour-changing motifs: The animal designs stay hidden at cooler temperatures and appear above room temperature, so warm hands or a warm day bring the characters into view.

Keeping it clean

Before first use, place the cup in boiling water for five minutes, using enough water to avoid damage. After that, clean it thoroughly with a mild washing-up liquid and sterilise it before every use — always taking the cup apart into its component parts before boiling or steam-sterilising. It's made up of only a few parts that come apart and reassemble easily, so day-to-day cleaning stays manageable.
