The NUK First Choice Temperature Control Glow Starter Pack is a ready-to-go bottle-feeding set built around NUK's First Choice+ system, with the added reassurance of a built-in Temperature Control indicator. It brings together a mix of bottle sizes and teat flows, an orthodontic soother and a cleaning brush, so you have the essentials to start feeding expressed breast milk, formula or thin liquids from day one. The bottles are made from BPA-free polypropylene and are suited to babies from 0–6 months.

Checking that a feed isn't too hot or too cold before every meal can be one of those small daily uncertainties. These First Choice+ bottles carry a Temperature Control indicator that sits within the graduation marks and looks like a little thermometer. It changes colour with the temperature of the contents: the normally blue indicator turns white if the feed is too hot, with the mid-blue tone corresponding to body temperature (37°C).

The NUK First Choice teat shape

NUK First Choice has long been designed around bottle feeding modelled on breastfeeding. The teat uses the NUK Shape, contoured on a mother's nipple during breastfeeding to leave your baby's tongue and jaw room for natural sucking movements. A soft zone on the silicone teat is designed to fit more comfortably against the roof of the mouth for a natural drinking feel. Because of this familiar shape, the teat tends to be well accepted, which can be helpful if your baby moves between the breast and the bottle. This pack includes a soft silicone 0–6 months teat.

Anti-colic air system

Each bottle features NUK's improved Anti-Colic Air System. The vent lets air into the bottle during feeding to prevent a vacuum forming, so your baby can drink continuously and swallow less air from the bottle. For the best result, it also helps to make sure your baby keeps a good seal around the teat.

A mix to suit different feeds

The set pairs smaller bottles fitted with a small-hole teat for thin liquids like breast milk or tea with larger bottles fitted with a medium-hole teat for formula, so you're covered across different feeds and stages within the 0–6 month window. The extra-wide bottle neck makes filling and cleaning easier, and the shape is designed for a safe grip and stable stand. An orthodontic soother and a bottle-and-teat cleaning brush round out the pack. Everything is interchangeable within the NUK First Choice range, so it's easy to add or swap parts as your routine changes.

How to Use & care for it

Before first use, place the parts in boiling water for five minutes, using plenty of water to avoid damage. For everyday use, clean thoroughly with a mild washing-up liquid and sterilise before each further use — always dismantle the bottle into its component parts before boiling or steam-sterilising. NUK recommends using the NUK Steriliser. For hygiene and safety, replace teats after two months, or sooner if you notice any tears or cracks.
