Fast Nationwide Delivery for R99

Delivery, sorted.

We’re committed to getting your order to you quickly, and hassle-free. While we do carry a lot of stock in our store, we do sometimes have to order in from suppliers.

Processing Time

If this item is in stock, it’s processed within 2 hours, often much quicker.

If this item needs to come in from our supplier, it usually takes 2-3 days for us to receive it. As soon as it arrives, we’ll pack your order and prep it for delivery.

Delivery Time

Once your order is packed, it’s immediately booked with one of our courier partners. From there, delivery usually takes a couple days:

Gauteng
1-2 days
Cape Town, Durban, Main Centres
2-3 days
Regional & Outlying
2-5 days

Need it sooner?

If your item is in stock, you’ll also have the option for Urgent Delivery for R149. This books your order on our courier partner’s priority shipping option, which is usually a same or next day service.

Other Ways To Get Your Order

We’re flexible, and want to make sure you get your order in a way that works for you.

  • Click & Collect
  • Locker Delivery with PUDO or Bob Box
  • Pargo and PostNet available on request.

More About Timelines

Timelines are estimates, based on our averages and couriers’ commitments. We always aim to get your order to you quicker than this — but they’re not a guarantee. Wherever your order is in the journey, we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

Returns Made Easy

Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns on this product once it’s been opened. This is usually because:

  • It’s a hygiene or sanitary product
  • It’s single-use
  • It’s a final sale or clearance item

If there’s a defect or fault, though, it’s always covered as a warranty claim.

If the item is still unopened, you can return it within 30 days of receiving it. Just request a return from your account or through our chat, and we’ll handle the rest.

Returns are always free within 7 days. After that, if you’re returning it because you’ve changed your mind, you may need to cover the return cost. You can send it back yourself, or we can arrange a courier and give you an upfront quote — direct from the courier. If your return is for any other reason, it’s free.

Warranty

Warranty Period: 6 Months Limited Warranty

This product’s warranty is provided by the manufacturer/distributor. As an authorised retailer, any purchase from us qualifies for the full manufacturer’s warranty — no exceptions.

Warranty claims are handled directly by the manufacturer or distributor, so we’ll refer you to the right team to get your claim underway. That said, we don’t just hand you off and disappear — we stay involved and follow up from our side to help make sure your claim is resolved promptly.

For most claims, all you’ll need is proof of purchase.

Goes great with ...
  • Genuine replacement: A First Choice over-cap to complete a set or replace a worn or lost cap.
  • See-through design: The transparent polypropylene lets you check the teat and bottle contents without removing the cap.
  • Durable material: Made of polypropylene that stands up to repeated cleaning and sterilising.
  • System fit: Compatible with all First Choice Plus bottles for a seamless screw-on fit.
  • Keeps things hygienic: Covers the teat to help keep the bottle clean between feeds and on the go.
  • Pack of three: Comes as a set of three, so you've always got a spare within reach.

The NUK First Choice Overcap is a replacement dust cap (over-cap) for your First Choice Plus bottles — the transparent cover that clips over the teat to keep it clean and hygienic between feeds and while the bottle is packed in a nappy bag. If your original cap has gone missing or become worn, this is the straightforward way to get a bottle back to a complete, ready-to-use set.

It's made of durable, transparent polypropylene, so you can see the teat and check the contents of the bottle at a glance without lifting the cap off. It comes as a pack of three, which is handy if you rotate a few bottles through the day or simply like keeping a spare on hand.

A system fit that matters

This over-cap is designed for compatibility with all First Choice Plus bottles, so it screws on for a seamless fit within the NUK First Choice system. Because caps, collars and teats are part of one system, matching the replacement to the right range is what keeps everything sealing and sitting correctly — worth checking your bottles are First Choice Plus before ordering.

Keeping it clean

Before first use, place the cap in boiling water for five minutes, using plenty of water to avoid damage. After that, clean it thoroughly with a mild washing-up liquid and sterilise before each further use — NUK suggests the NUK Steriliser for this. Always take the bottle apart into its separate components before boiling or steam-sterilising.

Care & Maintenance

Before first use, place in boiling water for 5 minutes, using sufficient water to avoid damage.

To ensure hygiene, clean thoroughly using mild washing up liquid and sterilise before every further use. We recommend using the NUK Steriliser for sterilisation.

Always dismantle the bottle for boiling or steam-sterilising into its component parts.
