NUK First Choice Mini Starter Pack

The NUK First Choice Mini Starter Pack is a compact bottle-feeding bundle that gives you a flexible starting point whether you're preparing for your baby's arrival or topping up the feeding essentials you already have. It brings together two 300ml First Choice+ bottles, an extra teat and an orthodontic soother, all built around the same NUK First Choice+ system so the parts work together from day one.

The set is designed for babies aged 0–6 months and covers both formula and breastmilk feeding. The two 300ml bottles arrive fitted with a Size 1 medium-hole silicone teat suited to formula, while the additional Size 1 small-hole teat gives you a slower flow for breastmilk, cooled boiled water or tea — so you can switch between liquids without changing your whole bottle set-up.

Temperature Control at a glance

Each bottle has NUK's Temperature Control indicator built into the measuring scale. It changes colour from blue to white when the contents are too hot, giving you a quick visual cue at feeding time. It's a helpful guide rather than a precise reading, so NUK still recommends doing a wrist test to check the temperature before you feed.

Materials and everyday handling

The bottles are made from high-quality polypropylene (PP) — a lightweight, hard-wearing and BPA-free material that stands up to daily use. The teats and orthodontic soother are made from silicone, a clear, heat- and age-resistant polymer that's easy to clean.

How it works

• Anti-colic vent system: The valve lets air into the bottle during feeding to prevent a vacuum forming, so baby can feed continuously; it's designed to help reduce the air swallowed during a feed.
• Temperature Control indicator: Integrated into the bottle scale, it changes colour from blue to white when the liquid is too hot.
• Orthodontic teat and soother shape: Both the teats and the soother use NUK's orthodontic shape, designed to sit comfortably in baby's mouth during feeding and soothing.

Keeping it clean

Before first use, place the parts in boiling water for five minutes, using enough water to avoid damage. For everyday hygiene, clean thoroughly with a mild washing-up liquid and sterilise before each further use — the NUK Steriliser is recommended for this. Always dismantle the bottle into its component parts before boiling or steam-sterilising.
