Goes great with ...

  • Complete kit for all ages: Includes an adult mask, a paediatric mask, an angled mouthpiece, air tubing and replacement filters, so the whole household can use it from the start.
  • Fine aerosol mist: Produces particles with an MMAD of around 3.0 to 5.0 microns, a range associated with deeper lung penetration.
  • Efficient output: An average nebulisation rate of ≥ 0.2 ml/min helps keep treatment times manageable.
  • Built for daily use: Engineered for high-duty cycles and continuous operation, suiting frequent treatments.
  • Simple one-button operation: An easy design that helps when treating a restless child or an older family member.
  • Safety built in: A thermal protector helps prevent the motor from overheating during extended use.
  • Quiet and portable: Designed for relatively quiet running (typically under 60 dBA) with a light body and easy carry handle.
  • Tidy storage: A built-in compartment keeps the power cord and accessories together between uses.

The NeoMedic NebuMist Nano Nebuliser is a piston compressor nebuliser designed for home inhalation therapy. It uses a powerful compressor to turn a compatible prescribed liquid medicine into a fine aerosol mist, which is then breathed in through a mask or mouthpiece. The device delivers the medicine your treatment plan calls for — it doesn't decide which medicine, dose or schedule is right for you, so it's always used alongside guidance from your doctor or pharmacist.

It comes ready to use for the whole household, with an adult mask, a paediatric mask, an angled mouthpiece, a kink-resistant air tubing and a set of replacement air filters included, so you can start treatment without hunting for extra parts. A one-button design keeps operation simple, which is genuinely helpful when you're managing a treatment for a restless child or an older family member.

How it works

  • Compressor-driven aerosol: The piston compressor pushes air through the medication cup to break the liquid into an aerosol mist that can be inhaled — no water is required to run it.
  • Particle size: The aerosol has a Mass Median Aerodynamic Diameter (MMAD) of roughly 3.0 to 5.0 microns, a range associated with deeper lung penetration.
  • Nebulisation rate: An average output of ≥ 0.2 ml/min helps keep treatment times efficient.
  • Thermal protector: A built-in safety mechanism helps prevent the motor from overheating during extended use.

Built for regular use

The unit is engineered for high-duty cycles and continuous operation, which makes it suited to frequent daily treatments rather than the occasional once-off. It runs on standard AC 220V/50Hz mains power and is designed for relatively quiet operation (typically under 60 dBA). Despite the powerful compressor, it stays light enough to move around the house with an easy carry handle, and a built-in compartment stores the power cord and accessories neatly between uses.

Technical detail

The compressor reaches a maximum pressure of ≥ 35 psi (approximately 241 kPa) with an operating pressure of 10 to 16 psi (approximately 69 to 110 kPa) and a litre flow range of 6 to 10 LPM. The medication cup holds between 6 ml and 10 ml.

How to use and care for it

Keeping the parts clean is important for hygiene and performance:

  1. Clean the mask and medication cup with warm soapy water after every use, and disinfect them regularly to prevent bacterial growth.
  2. Check the air filter monthly and replace it if it looks dirty or grey, which helps protect the motor and keep the air path clean.
  3. The mask and tubing are intended for single-patient use and should be replaced every 3 to 6 months for hygiene and performance.

Best for

The NeoMedic NebuMist Nano Nebuliser is a great option for households who:

  • Have a prescribed nebulised medicine and need a reliable mains-powered unit for regular home treatments
  • Want a single device that suits all ages, with both adult and paediatric masks included
  • Prefer a simple one-button system that's easy to operate under pressure

It may not be the best fit if you:

  • Need a compact, battery-powered unit for travel or load-shedding, as this model runs on AC mains power
  • Only need occasional relief for an everyday cold or blocked nose — many ordinary coughs and congestion don't require nebulised medication

Disclaimer

A nebuliser is a medical device that delivers medicine; it is not a treatment in itself and does not determine which medicine, dose or frequency is appropriate. Use only medicines or solutions prescribed or approved for nebulisation by your healthcare provider, and follow the device manual and your treatment plan for technique, mask fit and timing. Never use essential oils, tap water or homemade solutions in the chamber. If symptoms worsen or you're unsure whether nebulised treatment is needed, speak to a doctor or pharmacist.
