Fast Nationwide Delivery for R99

Delivery, sorted.

We’re committed to getting your order to you quickly, and hassle-free. While we do carry a lot of stock in our store, we do sometimes have to order in from suppliers.

Processing Time

If this item is in stock, it’s processed within 2 hours, often much quicker.

If this item needs to come in from our supplier, it usually takes 2-3 days for us to receive it. As soon as it arrives, we’ll pack your order and prep it for delivery.

Delivery Time

Once your order is packed, it’s immediately booked with one of our courier partners. From there, delivery usually takes a couple days:

Gauteng
1-2 days
Cape Town, Durban, Main Centres
2-3 days
Regional & Outlying
2-5 days

Need it sooner?

If your item is in stock, you’ll also have the option for Urgent Delivery for R149. This books your order on our courier partner’s priority shipping option, which is usually a same or next day service.

Other Ways To Get Your Order

We’re flexible, and want to make sure you get your order in a way that works for you.

  • Click & Collect
  • Locker Delivery with PUDO or Bob Box
  • Pargo and PostNet available on request.

More About Timelines

Timelines are estimates, based on our averages and couriers’ commitments. We always aim to get your order to you quicker than this — but they’re not a guarantee. Wherever your order is in the journey, we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

Returns Made Easy

Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns on this product once it’s been opened. This is usually because:

  • It’s a hygiene or sanitary product
  • It’s single-use
  • It’s a final sale or clearance item

If there’s a defect or fault, though, it’s always covered as a warranty claim.

If the item is still unopened, you can return it within 30 days of receiving it. Just request a return from your account or through our chat, and we’ll handle the rest.

Returns are always free within 7 days. After that, if you’re returning it because you’ve changed your mind, you may need to cover the return cost. You can send it back yourself, or we can arrange a courier and give you an upfront quote — direct from the courier. If your return is for any other reason, it’s free.

Warranty

Warranty Period: 6 Months Limited Warranty

This product’s warranty is provided by the manufacturer/distributor. As an authorised retailer, any purchase from us qualifies for the full manufacturer’s warranty — no exceptions.

Warranty claims are handled directly by the manufacturer or distributor, so we’ll refer you to the right team to get your claim underway. That said, we don’t just hand you off and disappear — we stay involved and follow up from our side to help make sure your claim is resolved promptly.

For most claims, all you’ll need is proof of purchase.

Goes great with ...
  • Generous coverage: At 108 x 108 cm, it reaches beyond a high chair base or across a table to catch dropped food and craft mess.
  • Wipes clean quickly: The water-resistant polyester surface can be wiped down on the spot for everyday spills.
  • Machine washable: For bigger messes, the whole mat washes at a maximum of 30°C.
  • Light and packable: At just 198 g it folds up small enough to tuck into a nappy bag or stroller basket.
  • Made to move between rooms: Works under the high chair at mealtimes and across the table for arts and crafts.
  • Soft cotton trim: A cotton edge finishes the water-resistant polyester body.
  • Understated Mushie design: A clean, minimal look that blends into the home rather than standing out.

The Mushie Splat Mat is a large, wipeable floor and table mat that helps contain the mess that comes with mealtimes, playtime and craft sessions. Made from water-resistant polyester fabric with a soft cotton trim, it sits under a high chair to catch dropped food, or spreads across a table to protect the surface during arts and crafts — so the inevitable spills, splatters and painty fingers are easier to deal with afterwards.

At 108 x 108 cm, it offers generous coverage to reach beyond the base of a high chair or across a work surface, and at just 198 g it stays light enough to fold up and tuck into a nappy bag or stroller basket when you head out. The clean, minimal Mushie design means it blends into the home rather than standing out, making it as suited to daily use as it is to visiting grandparents or a crèche.

Easy to keep clean

Because it is a mess-management mat rather than a feeding-safety device, the real test is how quickly you can clean it and get it ready for the next meal. The water-resistant surface can be wiped down on the spot for day-to-day spills, and for bigger messes the whole mat is machine washable — so you are not scrubbing at dried-on food between sittings.

How to Care for It

  1. Wipe clean for quick, everyday maintenance.
  2. Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C for deeper cleans.
  3. Lay flat to dry.
  4. Do not tumble dry, bleach, iron or dry clean.

Best For

The Mushie Splat Mat is a great option for parents who:

  • Want to protect floors under a high chair once solids and self-feeding begin
  • Need a wipeable surface for messy arts and crafts on the table
  • Prefer something lightweight and foldable they can pack into a nappy bag for feeding away from home
  • Like a plain, muted design that fits in with the rest of the home

It may not be the best fit if you are looking for a heavier, rigid mat that stays flat by weight alone, or a fully waterproof splash sheet for very wet play.

Please note: the high chair shown is not included.
