The Munchkin Maxi-Secure Pressure Fit Gate is a no-drill safety gate that creates a barrier in doorways and at the bottom of stairs, giving a newly mobile baby a defined space to explore. It fits openings from 76 cm to 82 cm and can be extended up to 117 cm using separately available extensions, so it suits a range of standard doorways and passages once you've measured your opening correctly.

Because it's pressure-fitted rather than screwed to the wall, there's no drilling involved. A four-point, U-shaped power frame presses firmly against the frame or wall on both sides, and the gate comes fully assembled with all the tools you need, so it's ready to install in around five minutes.

How the pressure fit works
