Maxi-Cosi Titan Plus iSize Multi-Stage Car Seat

The Maxi-Cosi Titan Plus i-Size is a forward-facing, multi-stage car seat designed to grow with your child from approximately 15 months to around 12 years. Because it spans the group 1-2-3 stages in a single seat (roughly 76–150 cm and 9–36 kg), it's the kind of long-life, harness-to-booster car seat you buy once and keep adjusting as your child gets taller, rather than replacing at each stage.

It starts life as a harnessed seat for toddlers and moves on to a belt-positioning setup for bigger kids, with G-CELL Side Impact Protection, an adjustable headrest and four recline positions built in throughout. It installs with ISOFIX and a top-tether, and comes with its integrated base attached, so it's ready to fit straight out of the box.

One seat, from toddler to tween

The Titan Plus i-Size is a forward-facing seat only (it cannot be used rearward-facing). For younger children it uses a 5-point safety harness, which is suitable up to 105 cm tall, approximately 4 years old, or a maximum of 18 kg. From there, the harness is stored away behind the cover at the back of the seat — you never remove it entirely — and your child buckles up using the car's own lap-and-shoulder seatbelt. The buckle tucks away behind the cover of the seating area, and the open design (no armrests) keeps the vehicle seatbelt easy to route and reach.

As your child grows, the headrest adjusts in height through multiple positions to keep the harness and belt sitting correctly, and the seat itself weighs 12.5 kg.

How it works

• G-CELL Side Impact Protection: Integrated side-impact technology is engineered to spread the forces of an impact away from your child, which is designed to help reduce injury particularly around the head, neck and shoulders.
• Soft foam headrest cushions: Soft foam safety cushions in the headrest help reduce the risk of head injury while adding comfort as your child rests.
• 5-point harness, then car belt: The 5-point harness holds younger children securely up to 105 cm / about 4 years / 18 kg; after that it stores away and the vehicle seatbelt takes over, positioned by the seat.
• ISOFIX with top-tether: For children up to age 4 in the harness, the seat must be installed using the ISOFIX anchorages and the top-tether. From age 4 to 12 using the car seatbelt, the ISOFIX anchorages and top-tether are optional — though ISOFIX is recommended, as it makes the seat more stable.

Comfort and everyday use

Four recline positions let you settle your child into a more relaxed angle, adjusted with an easy one-hand release handle found in the middle and front of the seat. A soft foam cushion and the height-adjustable headrest round out the comfort side, so longer journeys stay more manageable for both of you.

The Titan Plus i-Size is built to the i-Size safety standard and complies with EU regulation R129.
