The Maxi-Cosi Nesta High Chair is a wooden, grow-with-your-child high chair designed to move a little one from their very first meals right through to sitting at the table as an adult. Crafted from durable Beechwood with premium recycled fabrics, it adjusts as your child grows, so they're always seated comfortably at family mealtimes — whether they're a newborn feeding in a near lie-flat position or an older child joining in with everyone else.

What sets Nesta apart is how far its adjustability stretches. The backrest, seat and leg rest all move independently, and the chair converts through highchair, child chair and adult chair modes. Adjustable positioning for every stage

Nesta's backrest offers four positions in total: two newborn recline positions, one shared baby/toddler/teen position and one adult position. The first newborn setting sits almost lie-flat for use with a newborn, while the second is a little more upright for babies from around 3–4 months when they begin food diversification. Across its modes the chair offers five seating positions in all, so you can dial in support as your child develops head, neck and trunk control.

The footrest is just as flexible, with six positions to choose from — three adjustment slots on the frame, plus the option to flip the footrest upside down for a better fit. A well-placed footrest helps your child feel settled and supported while they eat.

Using Nesta from birth

On its own, the Nesta frame is suited to children from around 3½ years (roughly 15 kg and up). To use it from birth, you'll need the separate Nesta kits: the Newborn Kit covers birth to about 6 months, and the Baby Toddler Kit covers around 6 months to 3 years. Used together with the kits, Nesta adds a harness, T-bar and extension feet to hold your baby securely in place. The kits are purchased separately from the chair frame.

Materials and everyday cleaning

Nesta is made from sturdy, high-quality Beechwood with minimal plastics, and its newborn and toddler fabric kits use Eco Care 100% recycled, water-repellent fabrics. Its sleek lines and seamless design mean crumbs and food are far less likely to get trapped in crevices and cracks. To clean it, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth — avoid detergents, as these can damage the chair.

Nesta assembles quickly and easily, arriving with the fixings and Allen key needed to put the frame together. Like every Maxi-Cosi purchase, your Nesta is covered by a standard 24-month warranty.
