The Maxi-Cosi Nesta is a wooden high chair designed to grow with your child, and this bundle brings together the Nesta frame, the Newborn Kit and the Baby & Toddler Kit so you're set up from day one. From a newborn cocooned in the soft baby nest inlay through to a toddler seated at the family table — and eventually an adult chair — it's built as one seat you can keep adjusting rather than replacing at each stage.

What sets Nesta apart is how far it adjusts. The reclining backrest, adjustable seat and movable footrest let you fine-tune the position as your child develops, and with the included kits it works from birth right through to adulthood, supporting a weight of up to 110 kg. The Beechwood frame keeps things sturdy, while both fabric kits are made from 100% recycled fabrics and are machine washable — a practical combination for a chair that stays in daily use for years.

Comfort from birth to adulthood

From birth to around 6 months, your newborn lies in the cushioned baby nest inlay of the Newborn Kit. Nesta offers two newborn recline positions: an almost lie-flat setting for babies aged 0–4 months, and a more supportive seated position from around 4–6 months, once your baby can hold their head better. The kit includes a harness and shoulder pads to help protect delicate skin from harness rub.

From approximately 6 months, once your baby can sit unaided, the Baby & Toddler Kit takes over with its own machine-washable, water-repellent fabric inlay, plus a tray, T-bar, safety harness and extension feet that add stability at the table. Nesta's high backrest gives support as your little one learns to sit and eat with the family. After about three and a half years the seat can be used as a chair, and thanks to the range of settings it can carry on as an everyday adult chair.

Adjustable to fit your child

Nesta is built around adjustability. The backrest offers 4 positions (2 newborn, 1 baby/toddler/teen, and 1 adult), there are 5 sitting positions in total, and 6 footrest positions — 3 adjustment slots on the frame, plus the footrest can be flipped upside down for a better fit. Adjustments are made with the provided allen key, so you can dial in an ergonomic position as your child grows.

Easy to keep clean

The frame's clean lines and seamless design mean crumbs and food are less likely to get trapped in crevices and cracks, so it wipes down easily. The water-repellent kit fabrics let most mess wipe away, and the cushions are machine washable when they need a deeper clean. The frame itself is best cleaned with a damp cloth — avoid detergents, which can damage the wood.

How to use

1. From birth to 6 months, fit the Nesta Newborn Kit — use the fully reclined position for newborns aged 0–4 months, then the more supportive seated position from 4–6 months.
2. From 6 months to about 3 years, switch to the Baby & Toddler Kit once your baby can sit unaided, and fit the tray, T-bar and extension feet.
3. Adjust the seat, backrest and footrest with the provided allen key to suit your child as they grow.
4. From around three and a half years, the seat can be used without the kits and carries on as an adult chair.
