Goes great with ...
  • Kid-Powered Fun: There are no batteries required — all the action comes from your child pulling the cord and pressing the button.
  • Realistic Yard Play: Styled after a real string trimmer, it gives toddlers a believable prop for copying grown-up yardwork.
  • Pull-Cord Start: Children can start the trimmer themselves by pulling the retractable cord, just like the real thing.
  • Press-Button Action: A simple press of the button sets off the pretend weed-clipping action for little hands to control.
  • Toddler-Tough Build: Made from brightly coloured, sturdy plastic designed to handle everyday backyard play.
  • Comfortable Size: Standing 590 mm tall, it is easy for little ones to hold and push along the grass.
  • Officially Licensed: An officially licensed John Deere product in recognisable yellow and green.
  • Ages 18 Months and Up: Suited to toddlers ready for outdoor, imaginative play.

The John Deere Kids Preschool Power Weed Trimmer is a kid-powered yard tool toy that lets little ones join in with the outdoor jobs they see the grown-ups doing. Styled after a real string trimmer in bright John Deere yellow and green, this pretend-play garden toy gives toddlers a sturdy prop for imitating yardwork, tidying the "weeds" and inventing their own backyard routines.

Built from brightly coloured, sturdy plastic that is made to be toddler tough, it stands 590 mm tall — a comfortable height for little ones to hold and push along the grass. Best of all, it needs no batteries: all the action is powered by your child, which makes it easy to grab and go whenever they want to help outside.

How it Works

  • Pull-cord start: Children can start the trimmer themselves by pulling on the retractable cord, just like the real machine.
  • Press-button action: A simple press of the button sets off the pretend weed-clipping action, so little hands can "switch on" the fun on their own.
  • Kid powered: There are no batteries to charge or replace — every bit of the play comes from your child, which keeps it simple and always ready to use.

  • Are looking for a John Deere–themed prop to add to imaginative yardwork play
