John Deere Kids Monster Treads Bumble Bee

The Monster Treads Bumblebee Lightning Wheels vehicle is a push-along toy car that lights up as it rolls, giving little ones an instant, repeatable bit of play. Roll Bumblebee back and forth to activate the light-up wheels — and the faster they roll, the faster the lights flash — which turns a simple push across the floor into a small cause-and-effect moment children can do again and again on their own.

Built around oversized, chunky tyres and sturdy plastic construction, it's designed for energetic floor play and rolling over different surfaces at home. An on/off switch lets you conserve the batteries between play sessions, and the smooth rolling action keeps things easy for small hands. This is a character-led vehicle for Transformers fans, standing roughly 9 cm tall and about 22 cm long, so it's a comfortable size to grip and manoeuvre.

How it works

• Motion-activated lights: Rolling the vehicle spins the wheels, which switches on the wheel lights — roll faster and the lights flash faster, so the effect responds directly to how the child plays.
• On/off switch: A simple switch turns the lights off when playtime is over, helping to conserve battery life.

• Prefer a durable, oversized-tyre vehicle for active floor play

It may not be the best fit if you:

• Are looking for a toy suitable for a child under 3
• Would prefer a quiet toy without light-up features
