The Haakaa Oral Feeding Syringe is a needle-free oral device designed to help you give your baby medicine, expressed milk or liquid feeds without the mess and waste that can come with a standard syringe. Instead of a hard nib, it uses a soft, pacifier-style silicone teat that baby can suck on while you slowly press the plunger, which can make feed and medicine time a little easier with a premature or fussy little one.

The 10ml barrel is made from food-grade silicone and non-toxic PP plastic, with a clearly marked measuring bar so you can read the volume you've drawn up. The soft teat sits behind a pacifier-style shield, and the whole device comes apart for cleaning \u2014 practical detail for something you'll be reaching for often.

How it works

How to use

  3. Introduce the teat into their mouth and, once they start to suck, slowly push the plunger in.

Cleaning and care

Wash the syringe before and after each use. It comes apart for easier cleaning, and although it is dishwasher safe, hand washing in warm soapy water and rinsing and drying thoroughly is recommended. To sterilise, use a steam steriliser or boil in water for 2\u20133 minutes. Use only soft bristle brushes or soft sponges, as harsh scourers can scratch the surface, and avoid bleach-based cleaners or sterilising tablets on your Haakaa products.
