The FRIGG Daisy Latex Pacifier is a natural rubber dummy with a round teat and a scalloped, petal-shaped shield that gives it its flower-inspired look. Designed and manufactured in Denmark, it's made for non-nutritive sucking — the comfort sucking babies do that isn't about milk — during settling, sleep time or an unsettled moment once you've checked that a feed isn't what's needed first.
What sets the Daisy apart is its shape. It has a round nipple profile, meaning the teat is fuller and rounded so it sits comfortably in the mouth whichever way it goes in, without needing to be oriented a particular way. The soft natural-rubber teat pairs with a lightweight polypropylene (PP) shield, and the newer click-lock® construction holds the parts together securely.
A round teat in soft natural rubber
The teat is made from 100% natural rubber, which tends to be softer and more elastic than silicone. That gives it a different feel in the mouth, which some babies prefer — though, as with any dummy, acceptance comes down to your baby and no shape or material suits every one. Because it's a natural-rubber (latex) teat, it's worth keeping in mind if latex allergy is a concern in your family. Over time natural rubber can swell, darken or become sticky, which is part of why regular inspection and replacement matter.
Two sizes to match your baby's stage
The Daisy comes in two stages so the teat and shield proportions suit your baby's age: Size 1 for 0–6 months, with a 27 mm teat, and Size 2 for 6–18 months, with a 30 mm teat. Choosing the size that matches the stated age range keeps the fit appropriate as your baby grows.
How to clean and care for it
Natural rubber needs gentler handling than silicone, so follow FRIGG's method rather than sterilising as you might other dummies:
- Place the pacifier in a bowl and pour boiling water over it.
- Let it soak for 3–5 minutes — do not leave it submerged for longer than 5 minutes.
- Remove it and place it on a flat surface to air dry.
Do not use sterilisers, microwaves or dishwashers on this dummy, as these can damage the natural rubber.
Disclaimer
For optimal safety and hygiene, discard the pacifier after 1–2 months of consistent use. Always check it before every use, and replace it at the first sign of damage or wear such as cracks, tears, stickiness or swelling. Consider your baby's hunger cues first — rooting, hand-to-mouth movements or increasing alertness may mean a feed is needed — and never sweeten, modify or force a dummy. For sleep, follow safe-sleep guidance and don't attach clips, cords or toys to the dummy while your baby is sleeping. Each FRIGG pacifier is tested to the EN1400 + A2 safety standard.
