The ergoPouch Sleep Suit Bag 0.2 TOG is a convertible wearable sleep garment that changes from a sleeping bag into a sleep suit with legs, using its four-way zippers. Made from stretchy, breathable organic jersey cotton, it's a lightweight, arms-out sleep sack designed for warm room temperatures of 24°C and above — a practical option if you're looking to keep your little one cool and comfortable through summer nights without loose blankets in the cot.

At 0.2 TOG, this is the lightest weight in the range, so there's no need for additional blankets when it's worn — you simply layer appropriate clothing underneath for the room temperature. Because it converts between two modes, it grows with your child from cot to bed and suits everyone from settled sleepers to little wrigglers who want more leg freedom.

How it works

• Two modes, one garment: In Bag mode it works like a regular sleeping bag; in Suit mode the four-way zippers connect to form two separate legs.
• Arms-out design: The arms stay free, giving your child room to move and self-settle while the bell-shaped, hip-friendly bottom allows the legs and hips to move naturally.
• Separate legs for movers: Suit mode keeps the legs unrestricted, which is well suited to toddlers and pre-schoolers moving from a cot to a bed, and is designed to help reduce the risk of cot-climbing injury.
• Grip pads on the feet: These help keep your child stable for those overnight walks to the bathroom (or into your room).
• Overnight toilet training: The four-way zippers make it easy to get in and out for night-time nappy changes or toilet trips.

Fabric and warmth

The GOTS certified organic cotton is soft, stretchy and breathable, and is designed to help your child maintain an even temperature while sleeping. All ergoPouch fabrics are dyed with non-toxic, water-based dyes, and the garment has been reviewed by the Eczema Association of Australasia as a skin-friendly product. It's also feeding-tube friendly and machine washable.

Fit and sizing

Getting the size right matters: choose according to your child's weight and height (see the size chart) so the bag fits correctly around the neck and armholes and doesn't ride up. In Suit mode, there should be enough length at the ends of the legs for your child to move their feet freely.

Using it in a 5-point harness

In Suit mode (with legs), the 0.2 TOG can be used in a 5-point harness — such as in a pram for day sleeps on walks, or a car seat. Only 0.2, 0.3 and 1.0 TOG weights may be used in a harness; never use a padded sleeping bag or suit (2.5 TOG or 3.5 TOG) in a car seat.
