Echo Baby Newborn Swaddle Wrap

The Echo Baby Newborn Swaddle Wrap is a wrap-style swaddle for newborns, made from 100% soft, stretchy cotton to give your baby a snug, contained feeling during sleep. Its arms-in design gently holds baby's arms close to the body, which can help soothe them and reduce the startle reflex that so often wakes a settling newborn. If you're looking for a simple, adjustable cotton swaddle wrap in South Africa, this is a straightforward option to have in your newborn kit.

The wrap fastens with two Velcro snaps, so you can adjust the fit around your baby's chest rather than relying on a fixed wrap-and-tuck. The cotton is breathable and lightweight, which is helpful for keeping layering in check on warmer nights, and the wrap is suitable from newborn through to around 6 months, subject to the safety guidance below.

How to Use

1. Place your baby on the swaddle wrap with their shoulders aligned with the top edge.
2. Fold the left flap over your baby's chest and tuck it snugly under their body.
3. Fold the right flap across your baby and secure it with the two Velcro snaps for a safe, snug fit.

Best For

The Echo Baby Newborn Swaddle Wrap is a great option for parents who:

• Have a newborn who startles or settles more easily when their arms are contained
• Prefer an adjustable Velcro fastening over the traditional wrap-and-tuck method
• Want a lightweight, breathable cotton wrap for warmer conditions

It may not be the best fit if you:

• Are looking for an arms-out sleep sack or a wearable blanket with more movement
• Have a baby already showing signs of rolling (see below)

Disclaimer

This wrap is intended for newborns only. As with any arms-in swaddle, stop swaddling as soon as your baby shows signs of trying to roll over, following the product instructions. Always place baby on their back to sleep on a firm, flat surface, and check that the fit is snug but not restrictive. Swaddling does not reduce the risk of SIDS.
